Narrows Plaza
December 3rd, 2016

Total Paid Out: $6,011.00

Wrap Up
Perfectly 'moderate' scoring highlighted the day.  With a 1035 Winning score, 3 bowlers topping the 1000 mark and a perfect 919 Cut-Line.  AGAIN, we had a tie for the last spot on the Cash List, adding a 19th Casher (good news), but diluting the payouts to create the extra spot (bad news).  SIX bowlers managed 3-Taps and since nobody stepped up to break the log jam, we paid each $25 for their effort.

The Top 3 Finishers at Narrows, all broke out of lengthy slumps... thanks to those slumps, all 3 had THREE Bonus Pins added to their handicaps... the longest of the 3 slumps, was the one who captured this weeks Title.

Krisha Naff came very close to having a real 'Day-to-Remember'.  Her 'slump' had stretched back to July, with only ONE Top 10 finish since then.  In the 2:30 squad, she had a very strong 950 series, good for 4th.  One game had gotten away from her and she knew she had a good shot, so she re-entered the final squad.  Not only did she shoot her second highest ever game, but in the process, getting the front 6 of 7 Taps, with one real strike derailing her Jackpot effort.  Her excellent 1007 total pushed her up to 3rd Place, worth a nice $412.00.

Tara Strand continued the slump breaking day, by coming within THREE PINS of taking the lead.  Her recent struggle dates back to June, with no Top 10's since then.  Tara finished her set like a pro, with 3 very strong games, the game that set her back, was actually game #1.  She was just  a hair short of earning her 3rd Career Tour Title.  The hefty $818.00 payday also puts Tara very close to reaching the $10,000.00 CLUB for her Career.

STU GALLAGHER has a storied history on the Tour, highlighted by 3 previous Titles and he's the only Member to ever hit the Jackpot TWICE. Recently however, Stu's been really slumping, with only ONE Top 10 Finish since January.  To add to the challenge, Stu had been ill earlier in the week, causing him to miss bowling in his League.  But, thanks to the 83 year old's tenacity, he came back (again), to write another chapter in his Tour history, with his 1st Squad score of 1035.  Stu started the day in 28th place on the Tour's All-Time Money List... with this weeks Winner's share of $1,825.00, he jumped to 24th, with total earnings of $19,328.00.  That also creates a little 4-WAY side battle.  Who will be the next Member to reach the $20,000.00 CLUB... Cecil Abay-Abay, Willie Downing, Thang Duc Thai and Stu are all currently over $19K?  Stu made a small game change this week, that he credits with his improvement.  His adjustment was simply gea
