Brandon's Goal:  a Winner!! 

Brandon  Benicta joined our tour back in December of 2010 and won his first 9 Tap Tour Tournament over 6 years ago, back in March of 2012.  Brandon's been on a mission since the start of the year and was determined to win another Title. 

Although the times for our tournament were modified to meet Schofield bowling centers requirement, we drew 80 entries; paid out $5,762.00; 16 cashers in a wide range of handicaps (-4 to 65);  and a two time Champion.

Serjio Proctor showed up for the first squad and took command for the first squad lead at 974 followed closely by Adrian Kelley at 971.  New member Juan Aponte started his own fireworks bursting Serjio 974 and pushed  the scoring to a new height, at 1010 for the second squad lead followed  by Ray Nakagawa's 977. 

Brandon Benicta didn't do as well as he would have liked in the second squad and re-entered the third squad.  Brandon started the third and final squad very slow with a low score, then put together two very good scores to put him back into contention.  Lady Luck was on his side as he put together a string of strikes to finish his final game at 272, a 1013 series and beat Juan Aponte's 1010 score by three pins and all Brandon could say was, "anything can happen".   Brandon wins his second title and another "Giant Payday of $1,541 plus the high series and game, brackets and side pots. Nice!  Brandon thanks the 9 Tap Tour and Wes Flores for drilling his ball, a 900 Global Honey Badger.  Brandon earns his Red shirt for his 2nd title.  Congratulations, Bandon!!! 

The 9 Tap Jackpot is still at a high, $3,351.00 and the Progressive Pot stands at$1,465.00.  This past week, Glen Lim made a valiant try at the 9 Tap Jackpot with 4 no taps and the consolation prize of $75.00.  Nice job Glen!!  

K Bay Lanes on April 14th -BE THERE EARLY -

The 9 Tap Tour travels back to K-Bay Lanes and our advice is to "Get There  Early".   For those members who has the "Friends of K-Bay" ID's, you were sent a letter of the new changes to the "Gate Pass" procedures.  Please take the time needed so that you may be able to get through the gate smoothly.  So, hope to see all of you there.  Our Pots are high so the winning payout will be LARGE! 

TEAM EVENT - AUGUST 18, 2018 

Our Team Event for 2018 will feature a slightly different format that was used last year, however it should still be fun and interesting.  We had 21 teams signed up last year, so don't miss out get your team signed up.  There is only "ONE SQUAD" on the August 18th date of the TEAM  EVENT.  So, come EARLY!!!
