Schofield Bowl - January 7th, 2017

Total Paid Out: $4,848.00

Wrap Up

The 9 Tap Tour began the New Year successfully with another great tournament and a New Champion.  Chloe Pojas had to make changes in her game because her brothers had one up on her.  Chasten qualified for the 2017 Junior Gold Championship; Chaysen wins the Las Vegas Main event Handicap Division; and Chloe . . . well. . . not until she enters the 1st 9 Tap Tournament of this New Year of 2017 her brothers just met their equal.   Chloe has been a member of the 9 Tap Tour since August of 2010 and besides splitting school, athlectics and performing, she at times bowls on the tour.  She had to overcome the 1st squad leader, Bernie Domingo's posted score of 1031 to have a chance at winning her first title.  It took some great concentration and focus to score well and she did that after posting a 239 score in the first game and "slipping in the second game with a 209 then to change lanes and comeback with an awesome third game of 278", but it wasn't over yet by any means.  There was still one more game to bowl and after a scary start with a split in the first frame. she hung in and posted a final game of 216 and wrestled the lead away from Bernie posting a nice 1046 score.  Chloe wins her first title along with $1,387.00.  CongratulationsChloe on a great start of the New Year!  In second place was New BowlerBernardo Domingo posting a 1033 score and Darlee Horiuchi with a 1003 for 3rd Place.  Chloe thanks WLE Pro Shop, Keith Odette for drilling her Roto Grip Critical that she used to win her first title and the 9 Tap Tour Staff for putting on the tournament.  The Tour makes its next showing atHickam Bowling Center on January 21, for another “Beat the Board” format, and a largerProgre$$ive Pot standing at $1,286.00.  Our 9 Tap Jackpot stands at $4,873.00.  William Reyes Jr. wins the no tap bonus of$100 with 4 No Taps.

Aloha Erran Joseph!

The 9 Tap Tour is losing another great supporter in Erran Joseph.  A two time Champion on the 9 Tap Tour, Erran is heading back to the mainland, namely North Carolina to make his home and a new occupation he says, "Gardening".  The 9 Tap Tour will certainly miss Erran and his jovial personality.  We wish you the best as you begin a new chapter in
