1st Quarter Tourney at K-Bay Lanes 

Despite the weather and traffic jams on H-1 (3 different car accidents occurring one after the other), “We simply had a Great Tournament”.  Thanks to K-Bay Lanes Director Elden Doi and his Staff, our tournament went on so smoothly.   History at K-Bay show the winning score to be the member who caught “Fi - Ya”.  Back in December of 2014 4th Quarter tournament at K-Bay it was “Bob Kailewa”; November 1st, “Emory Carrick”; September 6, “Ron Loo”; and our 1st trip to K-Bay on March 15, was “Adrian Kelley”.  This year 1st Quarter Champion is “Tyrone Johnson”.   This past weekend tournament, the cash list went from -7 to 53; low to cash was 948; and another first time Champion.  Ty (which is what he likes to be called) earned $1,242.00 for his first win and a new DV8 “Ruckus” bowling bowl from sponsor Hawaii Bowling Supply.  He used a Storm “Crux” and a Hammer “Red Legend” for his win and drilled by Exxxtreme 300 Virgil De la Cruz.  Ty’s number 1 fan, Natashi, was there behind the scenes “Cheering him on”.  In 2nd Place was Ricky Laguana, $553.00 and 3rd Place went to Chris Takahashi $313.00.  Congrats to Champion Ty and all the cashers. 

Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots 

It was “Fun at K-Bay, just shooting for 10 bucks”.  The 9 Tap Jackpot paid out $370.00, $270 for 2 No Taps and $100 for 3 No Taps. Our Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots are at a sizeable payout for the next winner, as the Tour heads to Ft. Shafter.  The Progressive Pot stands at $1,000.00 and our 9 Tap Jackpot is at $7,325.00.  If you have plans on competing in the upcoming PBA West Regionals (Pro Am) or the Hawaii State Open and Seniors Championships or our next tournament at Hickam, I may have passes for you; give Kawika a call at (808 779-6566).   See all of you at Ft.
