Jody earns a Red! 

After a nice tournament at Pali Lanes, fighting a Storm that poured rain on the windward side, with 64 entries, paying out $4,917.00, our 9 Tap Tour tournament returned to Ft. Shafter Lanes for more excitement, close scoring, 79 entries, 16 cashers and a pay out of $5,376.00.   Last season, Jody won his first title at Ft. Shafter, nearly a year later, he wins his second title at, where else, Ft. Shafter. Veteran Ron was the first squad leader, posting the top score of 758.  New Comer Harry Adams took over the 2nd squad lead by a “single pin” with a score of 759.  That set the stage forJody Loo to post his winning score of 831. Sid Remigio posted a nice 826 but was disappointed because of a couple miscues which prevented him from winning his 3rd title.  Another New Comer Darrell Agao Jr. posted an 817 score for 3rd place.   For Jody, it gave him his second title and $1,333.00.  He used a 900 Global Eagle drilled by Mike Shimotsu of Mike’s Bowling Supplies.  Jody plans to use his winnings in Vegas. Congratulations, Jody, on winning your Red Championship Shirt! 

Progressive & 9 Tap Jackpot 

There were 4 members (Jason Fujimoto, Erik Walker, Clement Virtudes and David Hancock) tied for 3 No Taps bonus and a share of $100.  The Progressive Pot is $1,192.00 and 9 Tap Jackpot at $7,151.00.  Tell your friends and family about your tour, it will be “Fun and Exciting” this year.  Planned for this Mid-Year is a “3 PERSON TEAM TOURNAMENT”, open to 9 tap tour members only, past and present who meets all requirements of our tour and has to be “pre-paid” to ensure we will have enough prize monies to pay out.  More information will be forth coming.  Stay Tuned!
