101 entries on the Day 

The 9 Tap Tour celebrated another “AWESOME” fun filled tournament at Schofield Bowling Center.  This past weekend’s tournament attracted 101 entries; with 20 cashers; paying out $6,227.00 and produced another 1st time champion.  It was also the Quarterly Tournament and could not have been as successful without the ongoing support of our sponsors Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop and Hawaii Bowling Supply.  They gave bowling balls, gift certificates and prizes that were given in drawings for our members. 

Tracy wins her First Title 

Tracy Anthony began the day bringing her family to the bowling center for a day out and entered the 9 Tap Tournament with her husband LeVann.  She started the first squad posting the one and eventually, only 1000 score of the day for the lead.  In her words “I was very nervous and excited to bowl among all the great bowlers of the 9 Tap Tour.  It was fun and to win was exhilarating”.  Johnathan Benicta bowled a 300 in his 4th game and posted a 994 for second place.  In third place was Al Melchor with a score of 979.  Tracy used a Tropical Breeze drilled by Virgil Dela Cruz of Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop.  Tracy says she will use her winnings to fix her motorcycle.  Congratulations, Tracy!  Have fun riding!!  

Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots 

Our Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots have increased and should give a sizeable payout to the next tournament winner, as the Tour heads to Hickam Bowling Center.  The Progressive Pot stands at $1,621.00 and our 9 Tap Jackpot is at $6,890.00.  Cheryl Kato and Dona Hamabata put together 4 No Taps and split $150.00.  See all of you there!!
