Tournament Shortened 

A major sewage blockage caused the 9 Tap Tour to cancel the 5 o’clocksquad and shorten our Schofield tournament.  The decision to close the bowling center was the right call for management.  The backup of sewage overflowed into the restrooms of the center and caused an immediate safety and health danger to our members.  Although the tournament was shortened, we still had 62 entries and paid out $4,646.00.  The 5 o’clocksquad would have been large if it was held but all entry fees had to be returned.  There were members calling in to save spots on the squad as well as members in line to pay their entry fees.  What could have been??? 

Tour member William Rich became another first time Champion on the 2014 9 Tap Tour schedule.  William did not bowl well in the first squad and was determined to reenter the second squad with friend, tour member and 2014 K-Bay Champion Adrian Kelley, and posted the best series of his career.  For doing so, William picked up a nice sum of money amounting to $1,344.00.  Right on William’s heels was old time member Kevin Cruce, who lost by a total of 3 pins.  Kevin won $601 for his 2nd place finish and Ed Estoesta came in 3rd place for $301.  William says he is going to buy more bowling balls with his win.  He used a Hammer Spike drilled at Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop by Virgil Dela Cruz.  He also wants to thank Exxxtreme 300 and the 9 Tap Tour for supporting and cheering him on. Congratulations William on your first win!!!
