The tournament was a great success as we had 64 entries, a Cash List of 13 with averages ranging from -6 to 45 and a payout of $5,122.  There was some excitement on Saturday as member John Laveryput together 6 No Taps barely missing number 7 and $5,600 but did take home a 9-Tap Jackpot Bonus of $500.  Scoring at K-Bay was just where we like it, not too high yet not so low.  Actually, there were three scores shot in the 800 range and low to cash was 733.  The Tour's newest 3 Time Champion isEmory Carrick.   It has been over 2 years since Emory won his second tournament but he persevered through those times of changes in ball layouts, unconventional drilling and it paid off.  John Lavery set the tone early with a nice 812 score to lead the first squad but it was short lived.  In the 2nd squad Emory put together some great bowling and set the bar high with a great 863 score.  Kawika Johnson put together his best score of 829 but well short of Emory’s score.  Emory used a Columbia Scout ball, drilled by Virgil Dela Cruz at Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop for his third win.  He plans to use his $1,476.00 winners share to “Pay bills!” Emory would like to "thank his wife for being supportive and his children for cheering me on.  He also would like to thank Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop."  Additionally, Emory wants to acknowledge his special fans of Kevin Asato, Sonny Carrick (son) and Aunt Cora Naki-Souza.   He thanks "the 9 Tap Staff for their support and for running one of the best tournaments in Hawaii!"  Mahalo for the kind words!  Congratulations on your third title
