Wrap Up

K-Bay Records first time Winner

Tour member Adrian Kelley became the fourth out of five first time champions on the 2014 9 tap tour schedule.  What a Great Start for the tour!  Our day went smoothly as members who had their passes got into Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii (KMCBH) without any pain or issues, those who did not have their passes called the bowling center and Manager Elden Doi went out to the gate to sponsor those members onto the base.  Mahalo Plenty Elden!

***Highlights***

Our first squad started a few minutes late because of the number of new members checking in.  As we got started, Adrian Kelley did not waste anytime at all, bowling with Wade Takamori and Daniel Toyooka-Lim, and posted a two game total of 584.  He faltered a bit after moving lanes shooting a 223 but then got hot again and shot 282 to post the only 800 series of the day, 866 which no one came close.  Bowling in the third squad was the“Waimanalo Duo” of Tour Champions David Gilman and Guy Pai’o with “Strongarm … oops! Body Builder . . . huh!  Surfer (small kine wave) Lopaka Rose” and Bradley Witkowiak bringing up the rear.  David placed 2nd with a 771 worth $503 and LeVann Anthony in 3rd place receiving $288.  Adrian’s win gave him $1,115 which he is taking with him to the “Ninth Hawaiian Island – LV”.  He used a Storm IQ fusion drilled at Stryking Dynamics and John Saguibo’s Pro Shop.  Congratulations on your first win!!!

First Quarter Tournament at Hickam

K-Bay’s tournament turned out so well that most of our participating members would like to go back there again and we will but when we return, K-Bay will have new “Synthetic Lanes”.  Nice!!  We also signed 8 new members for the 9 Tap Tour.  Another Nice!!  We do return to Hickam Bowling Center for the Tours first quarter tournament which means that the winner will receive a brand new bowling ball.  Passes will not be an issue if you have them because they are good for the month of March.  If you don’t have a pass, please call the tour directors so we can work on them soon, really, really soon.  Processing time is one week.
