The Good! 

Hickam gives the tour “jitters” because it’s a mystery of not knowing who will show for the tournament.  Entering Hickam Base was and is always a deterrent to some of our bowlers because of past history but as it turns out, we had 73 entries, paid 16 places with a total payout of $4,901.00.  A Big Mahalo to Mel Matsumura and his Staff for their support which allowed us to start our tournament on time.  Awesome Tournament!!  The Good! 

The Old?? 

“Old” Ben, retired HPD Officer (still Old), wins title number 6 (Co-Champion).  Ben thought that if he puts up a good score, he would place somewhere in the top 5.  Ben bowls a perfect no tap score of 300 and ends up in a tie for 1st Place.  For just having fun, Ben wins his 6th Championship and takes home $936.00.  Great Finish!!  The Old! 

The Rich! 

William Rich became our second Member to win back to back tournaments.  The first member was Darryl Salondaka back in 2011 but it doesn’t take away the awesome bowling William is doing.   William bowled really well in the first squad, posting a leading score of 833.  For doing so, William wins his 2nd title, a Co-Championship and picked up a nice check of $936.00.  His total for the back to back wins are $2,280.00.  Rich got RICH. . . ER.  The Rich!
