First Time Champion. . . . 

After a great tournament at Schofield Bowling Center with 101 entries, paying $6,417.00 and another 1st time Champion in Kathy Koch, our 9 Tap Tour tournament returned to Ft. Shafter Lanes for more excitement, close scoring, 93 entries, 20 cashers and a pay out of $6,398.00.   Last season Ft. Shafter produced 6 out of 7, 1st time Champions.  This season there has been 8 out of 13 1st time Champions at different venues and so it continues as Ft. Shafter produced anotherFirst Time Champion in Jody Loo.  New comer Al Melchorwas the first squad leader, posting the top score of 730.  David Hudgins, Jr. took over the 2nd squad lead with a score of 777.  That set the stage for Jody Loo to post his winning score of 829.  Dave Salis posted a nice 819 but was disappointed because of a couple miscues which prevented him from winning his 2nd title.  Jeremy Ledet and Sonya Baker also committed a few errors which prevented them to go high.   For Jody, it gave him his first title and $1,652.00.  He used a Storm Optimus drilled by Mike Shimotsu of Mike’s Bowling Supplies.  He also plans to use his winnings in Vegas.  Bowling the TAT?  See you there! Congratulations, Jody!!!
