Kahuku HS and Intermediate Band should be proud of their Band Director as he “Struck Up the Band” a third time; and the third time is a Charm that is the way Daniel Toyooka-Lim feels.  In his words, “Honestly, I just got lucky.  I made a good guess on an adjustment, found a groove and rode it for as long as I could.”  With this formula, combination and final score of 997, Daniel won his third title along with $1,538.00 and some.  This was a good start for Daniel in the first tournament of the new season and on his way to another BOY (Bowler of the Year) title.  In close at the end was Jeremy Ledet, 990 for 2nd Place, and Jason Fujimoto, 980 for 3rd Place.  Daniel thanks mom and dad for the encouragement, motivation and support they have given him at all the tournaments; "Big Props" to friend Jarrett Mizo for the coaching; and the “Awesome People of the 9 Tap Tour” for putting on a great event. 

The Tour makes its next showing at Pali Lanes on January 25, for our“Best 3 out of 4” format, a favorite of the tour members.  At last October’s Pali Tournament, Sonya Baker shot a great series to edge out, none other than, Daniel Toyooka-Lim, in an exciting match.

Our Progressive Pot is at $1,234.00 and the 9 Tap Jackpot at $6,430.00. 

At last weeks Ft. Shafter tournament Mike Asuncion put together 5 No Taps and won the bonus of $300.00. 

Frustrated with Internet
