Moderate Scoring 

So many members had a chance to win their first title and a couple members their second.  Lani Ring posted a score of 977 to take the lead after the first squad.  In the second squad, there were a number of members that had a chance to overtake Lani but only one could finish and that was eventual champion, Robert Dougherty.  Brandon Hee and Paul Sur could have but faltered in the last game of the second squad and finished with a 972, tied for third place.  Daniel Toyooka-Lim ended his chances with a split in the 9th and 10th frames, he shot 968.  Brandon “Marvelous” Benicta rolled the front 7 strikes , an 8 count spare in the 8th frame, a huge miss in the 9th frame and couldn’t finish off the 10th frame.   Robert took the lead with a nice score of 984 and started pacing.  In the last squad, Anthony “Ants” Yacapin was the last serious threat to Robert but fell in the 4th game and gave Robert “In the Dough” Dougherty his first title.  With the scoring on the moderate side,the cash list again was well represented among the handicaps.  Robert would like to thank his wife, Kim, his children and friends, John and Brandon, for their support.  He used a Storm Gravity Nano drilled by Nelson Weyl of Schofield Pro Shop for his win.  Congrats! 

Onward to Hickam

 Robert Dougherty was the only member hitting the 9 Tap Jackpot for 4 no taps in row and a $100 cash.  That takes the 9 Tap Jackpot to $6,976.00 and a “winners share of $5,580.00”.  Our Progre$$ive Pot is at $1,626.00 and another good share of $$dollars$$ for the next Champion.
