The 9 Tap Tour Pali tournament weathered the storm. Although the start of today's tournament was slow, the rain could not stop our members from showing and new members from joining the tour. After celebrating our first anniversary, the 9 Tap Tour Hawaii region is fast becoming the buzz words in the bowling community. Our latest Champion, James Padua is a returning island resident from Las Vegas who joined our tour a week ago. He entered the first squad at 12:00, bowled consistently throughout his 4 games and posted a good score of 1030. It held up through the storm and brought him his first title. There were other members that had a shot of taking the lead but could not overtake James. Zhi Wen Lau(1004) and Scott Becera (1003) had a shot of grabbing the lead but experienced a single game jitter. James sends his Aloha to his wife for she is his biggest fan and supporter. Asked what special plans he has for his winnings, his reply was “pay some of my bills”. James used a Lane 1 Buzzsaw, drilled at Strike’em Pro Shop. Next tournament stop is at Hickam Bowling Center starting at 1200 noon. Bring your Ohana, bring your friends and let the good times Roll. Winners that cashed in Saturdays tournament were also bowlers with mid to low range averages. |
