Tournament Wrap Up

  Another Sponsor Onboard

The 9 Tap Tour Hi Region has secured another sponsor in Audies Auto Tech.  Audie Saili is the owner, supporter and member of the Tour, another great sponsorship for our members and the Tour.  Need auto repair, call Audies Auto Tech, 671-2359, located at 94-165 Leonui St. #A, Waipahu.

 Quarterly Tournament Success

Our Quarterly Tournament at Hickam proved to be a huge success as the Tour gave away gift certificates, shirts, towels, tote bags and not to mention, 3 high performance balls.  Our third largest turnout on Saturday, proved to be the biggest surprise as we paid out $3,977.00, 14 places, and a first place pay out of $1221.00. To date the Hawaii Region has paid out over $115,000 plus prizes and bowling equipment.  Watch for our next tournament for more twists and surprises.  Discounts for new bowlers will be, pay $25 membership for 2012 and get the rest of the 2011 year free.  Great Deal, for your friends and Ohana.

 Hickam Tournament Champion

This past weekends' Champion is James Saballa.  James had no rhyme or reason to bowl this past weekend because he was golfing at Hawaii Prince Golf course, showed up anyway for the last squad, bowled a really, I mean really lousy first game and then came alive.  He came alive because his wife, Peggy said “you bowl junk, could have saved your money”.  So with all the expletives, “# % ^ & * !!”, edited, James proceeded to bowl lights out!  A great first title for James as he said, “I was just very lucky.  I can share my winnings of $1221 with Peg and she can take back calling me “Junk”.  James rolled an OLD, OLD purple hammer, drilled by Greg Gealon of Greg’s Bowling Pro Shop in Hilo on the Big Island.  In second place was our first squad leader, Kevin Asato who took home $510+.  After a lot of persuasion from Art, our third place finisher was Glen Lim and he took home $279, welcome back Glen.
