West Seattle Bowl
Oct. 19th, 2025

Total Paid Out: $11,809.00

Wrap Up

With some sun sneaking in through our normal weather, we had a great time at West Seattle Bowl.  We had 164 entries at Sunday's Tournament, while the numbers were lower than normal on this busy sports weekend, we were still able to pay out a nice 33 places.  The 'Cut-Line' was perfect at 700, with only 2 bowlers cracking 800.  We did have a large number of high scoring indivual games coming from every squad, just not enough big games in the same entry to produce more big series.  It started as a sibling rivalry with early leader Stephanie Lanouette shooting 772 during the 1st squad, only to be toppled by her brother, Jeremy Lanouette with a 783 in squad #2.  Jeff Price reached the $10,000.00 milestone by placing 5th, pushing his earnings to a total of $10,186.00

The 9-Tap Jackpot was cracked a little by two bowlers hitting the Front 5-Taps.  Earl Kleist and Steve Nolan each walked away with $375.00.  With $750.00 paid out at WSB, the 2025 9-Tap Jackpot surpasses $30,000.00 in payouts for the first-time in history!!!  Unfortunately, James Black just missed the Front 7-Taps keeping the Jackpot alive and still Extra Large.

Calvin Jones came to the Tournament with a mission, "I'm earning a star today". Took him a while to loosen up but was able to shoot his first 9-Tap 300 and string a couple more big games for a great 830 series, securing his first Tour Title. He wants to thank Gabe, out of Yokosuka, Japan, for drilling his Motive Revoke.  He also wants to thank friends Walt, Leroy, Alex, and Li'i for all their encouragement and competition during his run. He plans to use the $2,423.00 on a vacation back to Japan.  No surprise that Calvin achieved Personal Bests across the board Sunday... CONGRATS Calvin!

Coming in second place, Alex Cady was able to find the right adjustments on a re-entry to hit the second 800 series of the day (806). He took away $1,079.00 for his hard work and will keep pushing to get his 3rd Title and the white colored Champion Jersey that comes with it.

Beating out his sister's top score, Jeremy Lanouette was able to hold onto 3rd Place, earning a nice $553.00 payout.  Stephanie was happy for him, saying that she just hoped to stay in the Top 5. She got her wish, ending-up right behind him in 4th.

Next week we will be at Angel of the Winds in Arlington. Squad times are 11:00, 1:30 & 4:00. Progressive Pot is at $2,178.00 and the 9-Tap Jackpot is at a whopping $11,373.00. See you all there.
