What a GREAT way to return to West Seattle Bowl!!  204 entries produced a surprisingly perfect range of scores despite the all-new (to us) lane conditions.  The BIGGEST story of the day was the tightest competition we've seen in years, with the Winner pulling off a ONE PIN Victory and 3rd Place only 2-pins behind that.  Every bowler who topped 700 Sunday reached the Cash List.

The months-long assault on the 9-Tap Jackpot continued, when for the 3rd time in the last 4 weeks, the Jackpot has been hit for $500.00 after it was taken down just 5 weeks ago for $9,900.00.  This week it was Stephanie Perrine not only stringing 7-Middle Taps, but adding a couple extra for NINE IN-A-ROW!  Jessica Trinadad-Hill also had a chance to tie her after stringing 6-Taps, but an 8-count derailed her effort on her 7th shot (of course her 8th shot was also a 9-Tap).

1st Place - Walt Dalrymple  Scoring an impressive 825 for $2,550,00, Walt now has his 8th Tour Title since joining the Tour in 2011 and they are a very diversified list of formats!  He has 2 Doubles Titles, 1 'Trios' Win, 2 'Best 3 of 4' formats and TWO Titles that ended with a 'tie' for 1st Place.  This Win doesn't fit any of those categories.  This actually was his first Singles win since he took a 'Best 3 of 4' at Narrows Plaza in 2019, with a Doubles and a Trios win sandwiched in between.  Over the last several years Walt has had quite a few other bowlers Win while bowling on his pair... it's about time that he was the Winner from his pair!  Walt wants to thank Tim Fierro, Joyce Roberts, Stephanie Perrine, and the one who surprised them by showing up Sunday, Jessica Trinidad-Hill for cheering him on.  He said his goal was to beat Stephanie by 2 pins.  He plans on using his winnings on new windows and on his trip to Nationals in 2 weeks. 

2nd Place – Melvin Swagerty came very close to winning his 3rd Title scoring 824 for $1,140.00, his best personal series in a 3 Game Format by far, and just one pin under the 1st place score. So close! 

3rd Place - Jon Schneider, an original Tour member and no stranger to the cash list, came very close to winning his 14th Title by scoring 822 for $445 ($10 Pro pot) which was just two pins away from 2nd place and 3 pins away from 1st.  This was a very close competition indeed! 

ANGEL of the WIND Info:  We've had many questions about the upcoming Angel of the Winds Tourney May 10 & 11.  Watch the mid-week Newsletter of more details and a special Saturday incentive.  Saturday Bowlers will have the opportunity to bowl on Sunday, but on a wait list basis to fill open spaces.  We will also have our traditional Mom's Day Special Side Pot just for Mom's that the Tour will 'seed' with the first $200.00.
