Results at Bowlero-Paradise…never fails to impress the Tour and our committed competitors. We had a great & tight competition, with only FOUR pins separating 1st to 3rd Place and even more rare, only 79 pins from 1st to 41st. We continue growing our community signing up five new members this weekend and had an awesome 206 entries and another huge total payout of $13,486.00. The scoring met the 'moderate to low' range that was predicted Wednesday. Interestingly, the scores were about 20 pins lower than normal at the top of the 'Cash List' and about 20 pins higher at the bottom... go figure. Those scores actually stayed very much in the same range for all 3 squads. The 1st squad high series of 786 was topped by only ONE-PIN with the 3rd squad's 787.
As we expected, there were several long strings of Taps chasing the 9-Tap Jackpot. We started with three bowlers hitting the Front-4 Taps, including Rachael Wood, a new addition to the Tour. Later, Roly Liscano who had SIX of the Front-7, then Oscar Gestoso had SIX in-a-row with a shot for the 7-Middle Taps. But it was Tahjei Materne who was able to string the Front-5 Taps to take the lead, earning $375.00 for his effort. Great job to all trying to break the bank. Since the Jackpot got off so easy this week, it soared to $8,967.00 for next week.
Oscar's 6-Middle - Roly's 6 of Front 7
Tahjei's Front-5 + 6 of 7

Robert Galdo is a fairly new bowler on the Tour, having

first joined in May 2024 with limited entries prior to Saturday. The 72-year-old bowls intermittently on the Tour when he's not playing golf or playing for his church band. Robert struggled during the first squad entry and needed to rest his injured foot during the second squad, before trying again in the third squad. As we watched his final frame, we were estimating that he needed two strikes to win it, he got the first one, but it turned out he had just enough to win by ONE PIN without that second strike. His 787 series was his best, including his highest game, his FIRST Cash & his FIRST Title all-in-one! He attributes his success to his supportive wife, Miriam, and coincidently his son and three grandsons were also there supporting him. Robert appreciated bowling alongside his league teammate
Rolando Liscano, who also was within range of the Top Spot entering the final game. Robert has no significant plans with the earnings but is looking forward to adding more stars to his new Champion jersey. One of the new owners buying into the Puget Sound 9-Tap Tour is Robert's son
Mark Galdo.
2nd Place - Nelson Davis's story was very similar to Robert's. He joined the Tour last February, struggled in many of his prior entries, but really put it all together Saturday for his High Series & Game, while making his FIRST Career Cash a HUGE one worth a hefty $1,117.00! After missing #1 by just ONE-PIN, I'm sure Nelson can think of many places he could have found a few more pins.
3rd place – Nicholas Buchanon also had the chance to capture the Top Spot for his FIRST Title. An errant shot in the 10th frame of the 3rd game derailed the effort missing by just 4 pins. His $573.00prize put him over $2,000.00 in Tour earnings. He is definitely hungry to get his first title, especially after coming so close.
