Bowlero-Paradise again hosted its third SUPER Tournament in-a-row.  This one produced 238 Entries, $15,812.00 in Total Payouts and the FIFTH large 9-Tap Jackpot payout in just our last 3 visits, totaling an impressive $3,500.00 paid from the Jackpot.  The 3rd-Time was indeed the charm Saturday... First brand new Member Mayolyn Anthony strung 6-Middle Taps, not realizing that she was shooting for $500.00 on shot #7 which came up short... Shortly after that, Samson Ibale also strung 6-Middle Taps, but sadly he carried all 10 on his Money Shot (but he did get another 9-Tap on his next ball)... the 3rd person to string SIX in-a-row was the charmed James Black who did get a 9-count on shot #7, earning him a quick $500.00 for the feat.  BIG THANKS to Wiley and his team for a very smooth day, while handling the large numbers Saturday.

1st Place - Johnny Seng becomes 'Johnny 5' with his 5th Tour Title. If you're not familiar with the old 1986 movie 'Johnny 5' (or its character) it is a very sweet story... just like our 

Johnny 5 (time) Champion! 

 

Wearing his Dexter SST8 shoes and tossing his Storm Lightening Blackout Ball, Johnny proceeded to shoot the higher of only two 800 series shot on Saturday, for a narrow 5 pin victory.  Putting together 3 strong games, his 818 earned him a hefty 1st place check of $2,433.00, bringing his career prize money total to an impressive $28,054.00 since joining the Tour.  Johnny asked us to help him thank Tina Tran, Iya Seng, Jimmy Nguyen, Montana Xaysana, Adam Steen, Joseph Frank III, Dale Roberts Jr & Gavin Chan for cheering him on.  He says he will use his winnings to pay off credit cards & bills. 

2nd Place – Samson Ibale,aTourVeteran and Hall of Famer,joined the Tour in 2002 and FINALLY breaks out of his extended slump that has lasted since October.  His 5 Bonus Pins are evidence of having had just 4 Cashes in the last 7 months, for the worst stretch in his amazing career!  Samson scored the only other 800 series just 5 pins short of 1st place with his 813 for a 2nd place payday of $1,093.00.  In addition, he Cashed in the Scratch Pot with his 792 series for $235.00 and his 3rd high scratch game of 279 for $55.00, ending-up with a very nice total of $1,383.00. 

3rd Place - Earl Kleist, a Tour Veteran and Hall of Famer, also joined the Tour in 2002, has 13 titles, scoring a respectable 781 for a 3rd place check in the amount of $577.00.  He also earned $55.00 for his 3rd high scratch series of 730 totaling $632.00.
