Total Paid Out: $12,665.00

Wrap Up

Numbers were down a little this week, but considering the nice weather, a BIG Mariners game, Seahawks on TV and the Fair going on, we actually had a GREAT day!  We were still able to award 36 wonderful people a piece of the pie and payout a total of $12,665.00.  The scoring couldn't have been more perfect, with four low 800's on top and a 'Cut-Line' of just 696.

The 9-Tap Jackpot continued to challenge everyone.  Red Mateo sure gave it a gallant effort when he got to throw ONE-BALL for $750.00 with his shot at the Middle-7.  He fell just one-pin short on his 7th shot... oh and to top it off, he did pick up his spare and got another 9-Tap on what would have been his 8th shot.  Getting the Front-4 Taps during the last squad, Lisa Seifert was able to capture the Consolation all by herself for $150.00.  Lisa previously hit the Jackpot in 2017.  Come out and join us next week... you could be the one to break the bank!

Well this week our streak of 1st-Time Champs ended, with THREE bowlers looking for that 1st Title coming close finishing 2nd, 3rd & 4th.  Brian Selck broke that streak, shooting a great 827 during the first squad and was able to hold on to claim his 2nd Tour Title.  Brian has been a member of the 9-Tap family since 2007. He claimed his first title back in 2009, before spending time overseas and away from the Tour for several years.  Brian plans on taking his girls, Amber, Crystal and wife Grace shopping with his nice Winners share of $2,791.00.  Boy those are some really lucky gals. A true supporter of the Tour's sponsors, Brian used the STORM ION MAX and wore his Dexter shoes to capture this long overdue Title.  Brian enjoys watching and helping others.  He says, "Life is to short" and we all know the truth behind that saying.  Just bowl and have fun is how he gets through it.  Brian's win today makes him the newest member of the $20,000 CLUB, boosting his prize money earnings to an awesome $21,363.00

Chasing his 1st Tour Title, Yabsira Yoseph, or Yubby as many of you know him, wasn't far behind Brian.  With a great 815, Yubby had a shot to take the Title.  He needed 2 strikes and a 9 count in the 10th frame to Win it.  He got the first strike but a split derialed his run on his 2nd shot in the tenth.  He took home $1,226.00 for his 2nd Place finish, which should soothe the wound a bit.

Although the were several months apart, Austin Forrest has now claimed back-to-back 3rd place finishes.  Shooting an excellent 806 in squad #1 he hung on for his second Top 3 finish.   He did earn his biggest payday to date, taking home $464.00 for his efforts.
