This week the 9 Tap Tour traveled to Angel of the Winds. An awesome 184 bowlers weathered the stormy conditions. Participation in the first two squads were at max capacity, but the final squad of the day had us falling a bit short of the AOW record. Thank you to all that braved the weather. There was no shortage of big games, but putting several together was another story. Only two bowlers were able to stay in the 'groove' long enough to break 800. We paid out 37 spots on the Cash-List, with the Cut-Line at a reachable 706.
The 9-Tap Jackpot, continues to hold bowlers at bay. Only two Members had the chance to make a dent in the ever growing beast...
Ron Jackson had a hiccup in his attempt to take down the whole pot with 7 of the Front 8 Taps.
Austin Forest was the next to

take a stab at a share of the Jackpot, stringing 6-Middle Taps which gave him a chance to throw ONE-BALL for
$750.00, but getting ALL 10 derailed that effort.
A few years ago the Tour Family was rocked by the unexpected passing of Tour 'Hall of Famer" Roland Jarata. Roland was a mentor for Montana Xaysana & his good friend Adam Steen. Together at Roland's Memorial Celebration, they both dedicated they "wouldn't let Roland down"... they
were determined to win a Tour title for the guy that got them started and helped them so much. Sunday, Montana fulfilled that commitment by winning his FIRST Tour Title, shooting a HUGE 879 and becoming the 19th 1st-Time Champ this year. He was excited to finally break through after THREE previous 2nd Place finishes. CONGRATS Montana!! Montana would to like to thank his his bowling family, Johnny, Adam, Tina,Sa Ruong, Shari,Cory and Iya, for all their support. He plans to take some of his $2,189.00 prize to spoil his finance, Iris.
After joining the Tour in early 2025, Andrew Haugen returned this week after recovering from some health challenges. It looked like he was gonna run away with #1 until Montana caught fire. Andrew finished with a great 846 , normally a winning score, earning him a nice $768.00 check.
Rounding out the Top 3 was Rolando Liscano shooting an excellent 778, earning him a hefty $509.00 to put in his pocket. Roly came close to fulfilling his prediction, saying that this was gonna be his week, since he's worked so hard on his game lately.
