Sunday, the 9-Tap Tour went to Kirkland to Tech City Bowl for our 3-Game tournament.  This was our biggest turnout to date at Tech City with 146 entries, and 29 bowlers making the cash list.  A big thanks to Danny and his staff for the extra lanes, helping to every squad right on time! 

This was the first tournament that we are paying for the Middle-7 Taps since February, and the bowlers were ready for it.  Earl Kleist made a couple tries at it, getting 6 out of 7 on one game.  Earl's next game, he hit the middle-6 and went for the Golden Shot.  Earl's ball went Brooklyn but was a little too light as he left the 3-9.  Earl did hit the Front-4 taps in another game to earn himself the $100.00 consolation prize.  Next week's 9-Tap Jackpot will be $5,093.00. 

You can't keep a HOT bowler down!  Matthew Hert earned his 1st Title just two weeks ago, after many months of struggling on the Tour.  Matt had accumulated FIVE Bonus Pins during that drought, until a 28th Place finish broke the drouhght, cutting him down to 4 Bonus Pins.  Then the DAM BROKE...with his first Win he lost all 4 Bonus Pins, and in the last 2 weeks, he also lost 4 pins of handicap.  Losing a total of 8 pins per game, doesn't slow down a HOT bowler, as we have seen before.  Matt wore his Dexter C9 shoes while rolling his Hammer 3.0 ball this week, drilled by Randy Macomber of Papa's Pro Shop, shooting the top score of 794. Matt said that he will be using his $2,260.00 winnings for a family vacation, and wanted to thank his family, and his friend Andrew Fuller for their support.  Congratulations Matt on your 2nd Tour Championship! 

Taking 2nd place this week, Saman Seng was looking for his 1st career title, but came up just short, shooting 773.  Saman earned himself a hefty $1,004.00 check for his efforts. 

Our 3rd place winner this week, was the aforementioned, Hall of Famer, Earl Kleist who shot his best score this year, 768.  Earl topped the 4th place finisher by just 1 pin to earn a $540.00 check on top of the Jackpot.
