Sunday, the 9-Tap Tour, had one of its most popular format "Best 3 out of 4" tournament at Bowlero-Lynnwood.   We appreciated all of the support from our Members who made it through the traffic to Lynnwood.  As we mentioned, we've been trying to build the Tour's numbers in the North-End, and this week certainly was a huge step in that direction.  The 184 entries Sunday was the largest turnout EVER for the Tour, at any North-End Bowling Center!! A BIG THANKS to Jay Cook and his staff, we appreciated the extra lanes that Jay gave us, allowing to accommodate the record turnout. 

The 184 entries for the day put 37 of them on the Cash List with a cut line of 703.  We had three 800 scores, one in each squad which made great scoring conditions throughout the day. 

The 9-Tap Jackpot fended off several attacks on it throughout the day.  Richard Jones who just joined the Tour on Sunday.  Richard's first entry on the Tour saw him hit the Middle-6, but an 8 count on #7 cost him $500.00.  Ashley Barber, followed by L.C. Cofield hit the Front-5 taps to split the $250.00 consolation prize for the day.  The 9-Tap Jackpot will be $5,575.00 for the next tournament.  

Sometimes it takes a lot of perseverance to get a championship, which is the case of this week's champion, Isaac Joseph.  Isaac started on the Tour back in 2002 and got his 1st Championship in 2014.  10 Years and 9 Days later, Isaac took his 2nd Championship when he fired a 847 that no one else could catch.  Isaac rolled his DV8 Hellraiser to conquer the lanes, and said he stayed focus, and staying in the zone as his key to success.  Isaac would like to thank his fellow bowlers, Jerry Smith, Ashley Kochel, and Jeff Price for all of their support and keeping him calm throughout.  Issac will be using his $2,037.00 winnings towards his fishing vacation later this year.  The winnings for Isaac, also put him in the $10,000.00 club in career winnings.  Congratulations Isaac!

Finding the 2nd place slot on the leaderboard this week is Hung Phan who shot a great 809 score.  This is Hung's first Top-3 finish on the Tour in his career, which earned him $925.00 for his efforts this week. 

Another veteran of the Tour found the 3rd place spot on the Cash List, Greg Burdsall who scored an 802.  Greg was looking for his 4th Championship on the Tour this week.  Greg earned himself $468.00 for his 3rd place finish.
