Bowlero Lynnwood
February 18th, 2024

Total Paid Out: $7,582.00

Wrap Up

The 9-Tap Tour headed north this past weekend to Bowlero Lanes in Lynnwood with a 107 entries going after the XL Progressive Pot and championship.  The 21 bowlers on the cash list was right in our Goldilocks zone with three 1,000 scores and a cut line at a reasonable 913.

The 9-Tap Jackpot had another easy week this time around to help build it back up.  81 year-old, John Nissen, who drove down from Blaine, hit the Front-4 taps, to get the $100 consolation prize.  The 9-Tap Jackpot will jump to $2,045 for next week's tournament.

This week's champion had to survive the proverbial "target on his back," as Jordan Heil shot a 1064 for his 1st 9-Tap Tour Championship.  Jordan said, that he just focused on his mark, and relaxed by having good laughs with the people on his pair.  Jordan also said now he can stop hearing stuff from his dad, Darren, who won a tournament a few months ago.  Jordan wanted to thank his fiance, Tayler, for letting him spend the day at the bowling alley.  Jordan lost by 7 pins at Bowlero-Lynnwood, back in May, and was thrilled to redeem himself this weekend.  Jordan earned $2,260 for his outstanding bowling.  Congratulations Jordan!

One of the bowlers trying to chase down Jordan was Gavin Chan who scored 1038 to take 2nd place.  This was Gavin's 4th tournament that he has participated in, and this is his highest finish of his career on the Tour.  Gavin received $1,004 for his efforts on the day.

3rd place this week, who also made a strong run at Jordan, Brian Peters scored 1005.  Brian took home $473 plus the Scratch Series pot for the tournament for his great shooting.
