WHAT A DAY!!!  BIG shout out to Jamie and his HI-JOY staff.  We completely filled 24 lanes the last two squads and even added a 7th bowler to several pair, so nobody got turned away... we even managed to finish on-time.  YAY!!!  198 Entries shattered the old Hi-Joy record (180) that was set on our last visit.  A tie for 40th Place added a 41st bowler to the already HUGE Cash List.  A staggering  $12,723.00 in total payouts, pushed the total for 2024 to $406,985.00 already, by far the earliest we've ever cracked $400K.  Several New Members did well this week, led by Brent Perras 3rd Place finish.
 

9-TAP JACKPOT: The very 1st Game of 1st Squad, Jesse Sherman hits for 7-Middle Taps earning a sweet $750.00  payday.  We were thinking that it's gonna be a BIG day of bowlers chasing the Jackpot after that BIG early start, but it held up for Jesse.  A real strike in the first frame (above pic) was all that kept him from hitting the Jackpot... heck of a start to his day!  Jesse also hit 7-Middle Taps back in 2021.  We managed to 'spread around' an extra $405.00 in Jackpot money from the 'Instant $15' for the Front-2 Taps, with 4 Members taking advantage of the 'Instant $15' more than once, Paul Mann, Troy Breeding, Jesse Sherman & Brett Schaaf.  The Jackpot still remains near record territory at $10,900.00. 

Keliikuewa Kalima-Marion took his first Championship Title with his spectacular 854 series at Hi-Joyin Port Orchard.  Keliikuewa, whobecame a regular on the Tour back in February, set his Personal Best Game & Series to reach the Top Spot.  He says the 9-Tap Tour has been helping to improve his game and he is happy to be a part of these Tournaments.  He would like to thank his wife Lola, siblings Mao & Naioki Marion for cheering him on.  He earnedhimself a sweet check for $2,380.00 which he said is going straight into savings!

Our 2nd Place finisher, Brett Schaaf, shot a super score of 833.  He joined the Tour in March of 2018 and won 3 Titles that year.  One of those Wins was also at Hi Joy, where Brett proposed to Heather out on the approach (I forget which lane #. lol).  Brett's 2nd place finish earned him a nice payout of $1,072.00. 

Earning 3rd place this week was a new member, Brent Perras.  It looked like Brent's 832 score was going to take 1st place but alas, two other bowlers knocked him down to third, missing 2nd place by only ONE pin.  Still, Brent earned a nice check for $390.00.  GREAT START!!!
