Seems like the assaults on the 9-Tap Jackpot are increasing every week!!... Earl Kleist had 6 of the Front-7, only missing in the 3rd Frame (see pic above)... then, for the second week in-a-row (and the 2nd in-a-row at Bowlero), we witnessed a 'GOLDEN SHOT'!! This time it was Chandra Martinez earning the chance to throw ONE BALL for $7,377.00. She did a great job of 'centering' herself, pushed all that pressure aside and threw a GREAT shot (see video), that sadly only carried 8. So, for the 2nd straight week, the Jackpot paid out a well earned $750.00, yet the Pot still remains above $9K for Bowlero-Acme next week.
Jeff Price earned his 2nd Tour Title and the red Championship Jersey that comes with #2, with his awesome 1041 series. He bowled just a few times before 2021, but has become a regular on the Tour the last few years. Despite only one Top 5 finish prior to 2024, Jeff had lots of Cashes. Early this year, Jeff told Rob that he was going to have a BIG year! He's lived up to his word, now capturing his 2nd Tour Title, after winning Title #1 in May, both coming at Bowlero Lanes. Wearing his Dexter Sxt6 shoes and crushing the pins with his Proton Physix ball drilled by Robert Kelly at Secoma, Jeff kept the streak of now EIGHTEEN straight $2K Champions with his biggest check of $2,433.00. Jeff plans on putting his winnings into savings. He wants to thank all his bowling buddies Willie Manning Jr, Jay Burdine & Lee Conerly and friends for showing him love and support.
