The 9-Tap Tour traveled up north to Kenmore Lanes on Sunday, where 119 entries competed for the big progressive pot.  The scores were near perfect with only two scores over 1,000 (technically three but more on that later), and a perfect cut line of 930.  A big thanks goes out to Deja and her staff for the perfect lane conditions and the good food. 

This tournament we did the popular "2 for $10" promotion on the 9-Tap Jackpot as we try to spread out all the contributions to the Jackpot with more bowlers.  30 different bowlers got a crisp $10 bill, as Adam Steen, Tim Fierro, and Brian Peters accomplished it twice.  Tong Nguyen held the early lead with 4 9-Taps, and then a run on 9-Taps happened late in the day with Ruong Sa Tang, Brian Peters, Zac Clute and Joseph Kraszewski tying Tong for 4 9-Taps.  They all collected the $100 consolation prize for their efforts. 

Stephanie Perrine started with the 9-Tap Tour in 2016, and now travels to our tournaments from Oak Harbor.  Stephanie shot 1,011 in the 1st squad and sitting with the proverbial target on her back.  After the 2nd squad, Stephanie was still in the top spot, and a couple of the 9-Tap veterans talked her into re-entering in the last squad.  That was a great decision as Stephanie shot a career high 1,124 and won her 1st 9-Tap Championship.  Stephanie wore her Dexter Ricky IV shoes while rolling her Roto Grip Idol ball that was drilled by Derek Handy at Bowlero-Lynnwood Pro Shop.  Stephanie says that she will use her $2,561 for vacation next year.  Stephanie would like to thank her Mom for rooting her on and the support of her lane mates.  Congratulations Stephanie! 

Almost getting his 4th Championship was Zac Clute shooting 1,059.  Not only did Zac collect $1,124 for taking 2nd place, won the Scratch Series, Scratch Game with a perfect 300, plus the aforementioned 9-Tap Jackpot made over $1,500 for the day. 

The 3rd place finisher this week was Hall of Famer, and the man with the most championships, Samson Ibale who scored 988.  Samson received $562 for his good bowling on Sunday.
