Wrap Up
Saturday, the 9-Tap Tour traveled up north to the big house of Kenmore Lanes.  We would like to thank Deja and her staff for the wonderful service all day long to our 97 entries.  Scores were right in the Goldilocks zone with at least one bowler reaching a 1,000 in each of the squads and a near perfect cut line of 927.

The 9-Tap Jackpot held strong throughout the day with only Red Mateo coming the closest.  Red got the Front-3 Taps, spared in the 4th and then 9-Taps in the next 4 frames.  Jack Dompier, Raymond Sedeno, Elysia Pilgrim, and Red received $25 for getting the Front 3 taps.  Next weekend's 9-Tap Jackpot will be sitting at $5,792.

With this weekend being Father's Day weekend (Again Happy Father's Day to all you Dads), we had the annual Father's Day side pot for the High Handicap Game.  Andrew Fuller took home $200 for his 314 game, followed by Red Mateo 298 $125, Eddie Burdsall 297 $90, Tong Nguyen 290 $70, and Joseph Frank III 287 $50.

As bowlers going into the last game of the squad, one of the most common phrases is "Well I have to bowl a 300 to win!"  Well, Chuck Hufford did exactly that to win his 5th Tour Championship and his 1st since 2019 YEC at Narrows Bowl.  Chuck scored 1,055 wearing his Dexter Pro Am II shoes and using his OLD 16 pound Columbia Throttle-R Accelerator that he used in his 1st two wins back in 2008 and 2013.  Chuck was very calm during his squad, and says he is very appreciative of the support of his fellow 9-Tap members.  Chuck took home $950 for his efforts that he will be using on some new equipment.  Congratulations Chuck!

Taking 2nd place this week was Hall of Famer, James Black shooting a 1,042.  This is James 2nd time this month in this position on the scoreboard at the end of the day.  James hot bowling earned him a check of $988.

Another bowler who has warmed up lately and almost chased down his 1st championship, Andrew Fuller who scored 1,033.  Andrew's hot bowling earned him a $486 pay day for his efforts.
