The 9-Tap Tour traveled to the other side of the pond to Port Orchard's Hi Joy Bowl for a Sunday 3-Game Special.  132 entries made the trip to the west side, with 26 bowlers making the cash list, a cut line of 693.  We would like thank the staff at Hi Joy for the perfect lane conditions and great food throughout the day. 

The 9-Tap Jackpot stood to the great lane conditions throughout most of the day. Several bowlers hit the Front 3-Taps early on.  88 year-young Lewis Harley went on a run of the Front-5 Taps before throwing a natural strike in the 6th frame.  Lewis received $375 consolation prize for his run at the Jackpot.  Next week's 9-Tap Jackpot will be at $8,282. 

This week we crowned another 1st time Champion, Jared Vance, with an incredible score of 855.  Jared's best finish prior to this was a 2nd place back in July at Bowlero-Lakewood. Jared rolled his Storm Pitch Black drilled by Robert Kelly at Secoma Lanes.  Jared said, that he found the zone on the lanes, and combined with a little bit of luck shot a great series.  Jared says he is going to put most of his $1,720 check into saving but use a little bit on new bowling equipment. Congratulations Jared! 

Taking 2nd place for the 2nd week in a row, Thang Duc Thai, with a score of 835.  Thang did not shoot a 300 in the last game like he did last week, but shot 3 consistent games to receive $788 for his efforts. 

 3rd place this week was Gilbert Montejano with a score of 796.  This was Gilbert's 2nd Top-3 finish in 3 weeks, looking for his 1st title.  Gilbert received $394 for his great score of the day.
