The 9-Tap Jackpot was getting shot at all day with bowlers making runs at the money. James Black started the day with the Front-5 before hitting a real strike. Lewis Harley then made his run in the next squad, also hitting the Front-5 taps before hitting a 7 count. Lewis did hit a 9-Tap in the 7th to nearly hit the jackpot. Tong Nguyen went for the Middle-7 but threw too good a ballon the 7th getting a natural strike. On the video, Tong was caught saying a swear word and it cost him $5 for the fine.
The great thing about the sport of bowling is that you can go out and have fun with the whole family. This week's tournament was dominated by the family from Seabeck. Heather Schaaf becomes the 3rd member of the family to get her 1st Tour Championship with a score of 780. Heather said "I hit the zone in the second game, and my focus just kept getting stronger." Heather used her Storm Physix ball while wearing her Dexter shoes on shooting the great series. Heather liked to thank her husband, Brett (who took 16th), her dad, Mike Miller (10th place), Brian Peters, and Nate Koprek for their support. Heather says she will be using her $2,532 winning for their anniversary vacation and treating herself to something special. Congratulations Heather!
