This Sunday, the 9-Tap Tour stopped at the popular Daffodil Lanes in Puyallup for our Sunday 3-game format.  A great turn out of 136 bowlers showed up on Super Bowl Sunday, and 27 made the cash list with a cut line of 681.  We would like to thank the staff of Daffodil Lanes for all their great service keeping the tournament running. 

The 9-Tap Jackpot was never really threatened throughout the day.  Going into the final squad several bowlers had the Front 3 taps.  L.C. Cofield changed all that by getting the Front 4 9-Taps, and securing $150 for his efforts.  Next week's 9-Tap Jackpot will be at $9,428.

 

The hot Bobby McKenzie, who started on the Tour in 2003, came in and shot 825 to earn his 2nd championship in 2 months.  Bobby was wearing his Dexter C9 Knit Black and Red BOA while throwing his Radical Double Cross drilled by Randy Macomber at Papas Pro Shop at Paradise Lanes.  Bobby wanted to thank his son Zach (who placed 14th), his family that supports his bowling endeavors, Mike Kelly and Dave Hanson for giving him helpful tips and their experiences.  Bobby will be using his $1,842 for more bowling tournaments and equipment. 

Just missing catching Bobby, and getting his 1st championship by 4 pins, was Korby Kencayd scoring 821. Korby's 2nd place finish was his 2nd Top-3 finish in the last 2 weeks, earning him an $846 check. 

Taking 3rd place was last week's champion, Kevin Cato.  Kevin shot a 796 to earn him a $462 check for his back-to-back Top-3 finish.
