The 9-Tap Tour made its stop this weekend at Bowlero-Lakewood for a full 4 Squad event.  We would like to thank Bill and Tina for all their hard work, as the lanes and machines worked great all day and kept us on schedule.  The scoring was right on spot with 5 bowlers scoring over 1,000 and a cut line of 902, which 30 bowlers found themselves over the line. 

 

Now with the 9-Tap Jackpot over $4,000, the Middle 7 9-Taps are now in play for the consolation prize.  Donnie Roberts found out that 8 out of 9 pays absolutely nothing.  Several bowlers had the Front 3 9-Taps going into the last squad, including Joseph Frank III.  Joseph did it better in his 2nd game getting the Front-5, and receiving the $250 consolation prize, but it wasn't over for Joseph.  The 9-Tap Jackpot will be $4,555 for next week's tournament. 

The aforementioned, Joseph Frank III, shot great the first 3 games and took his 2nd Tour Championship with a score of 1,040.  Joseph was wearing his Dexter V-Strap 2018 shoes while rolling his Track Tactix Hybrid drilled by Randy Macomber at Paradise Lanes.  Joseph would like to thank his coach Bobby McKenzie for working on his accuracy and form.  Joseph says he will be using part of his $2,192 winning on new bowling equipment.  Congratulations Joseph! 

Just missing Joseph and his 3rd championship, was Marcus Simmons who shot 1,037 capturing 2nd place in the Tournament.  Marcus won at Bowlero-Lakewood in February and March (1st quarter) tournaments, and came so close to the trifecta.  Marcus earned $976 for his efforts. 

3rd place this week is another hot bowler in Jeremy Milam.  Jeremy won his 1st championship just a few weeks ago when we were up in Lynnwood and came close to his 2nd victory shooting 1,021.  Jeremy earned a 3rd place check of $544.
