Sunday, the 9-Tap Tour stopped at Bowlero Lanes - Acme in Tukwila where we had 121 entries compete for 24 spots on the Cash List.  The scores were right on target on the high end with 3 1,000 scores, but the cut line was low, as it has been the last couple times at this venue with a cut line of 895. 

The 9-Tap Jackpot was not seriously threatened this week, as it was tough to get the taps at the beginning of the games.  Two veteran bowlers ended up with the Front-4 Taps, Tong Nguyen and Samson Ibale, as they shared the consolation prize of $100 ($50 each).  Next week's 9-Tap Jackpot will be $3,677.

Jeremy Milam is this week's champion, blowing the competition away with an outstanding 1,062.  This is Jeremy's 1st championship on the Tour beating his previous top finish of 4th place.  Jeremy, a father of 6 children, used his Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid drilled by Purvis Granger at Riverside Lanes.  Jeremy wanted to thank his wife, Sarah, for supporting his bowling endeavors, and Jon Schneider for his encouragement at the 9-Tap Tournament.  Jeremy will be using some of his $1,844 when he goes to Nationals at the end of May.  Congratulations Jeremy! 

Another bowler who showed up hot was Jayden Burnside, who took 2nd place this week.  Jayden, who just turned 18 a couple of weeks ago, shot 1,021 in his 2nd tournament on the Tour.  Jayden took home $838 check for his efforts, plus another $260 from the scratch pot. 

The man with the target on his back who got caught was, Hall of Famer, Bob Rouse, whose score of 1,021 held onto a 3rd place finish.  Bob, who helps out with the tournament, score looked like it might hold on, but came up just short.  Bob received $428 check for his efforts on the day.
