Skyway Park Bowl was the venue this week as the tour paid out a total of $9,485.00, including $750.00 from the 9 Tap Jackpot.  There were 119 total entries, 24 bowlers on the cash list with the cut line at 916. 

Very impressively, Andy Snow connected for taps on his final seven shots of his third game which was good enough to get him $750.00 for the 'Middle 7', but for good measure, he started his next game with another three for TEN in a row!!!  More news on Andy further down below...

Before we go any further, we want emphasize the fact that we will be at Daffodil NEXT SUNDAY with EARLY SQUAD TIMES at 10:00, 12:00 & 2:00. We strongly encourage everyone to get out for those first two squads particularly because there will be limited spots availabe for the 2:00 squad due to an incoming league.  Fair warning, If you show up for the last squad only, especially at the last minute, we cannot guarantee you a spot so PLEASE try to make it for the earlier squads!  

With a huge Progressive pot on the line this week, five bowlers were able to crack 1000, including the Skyway specialist Ajay Jarata (1005) in 5th place & Thang Thai (1008) in 4th.  Worth mentioning as well are Joe Williams, who shot 999 for 6th with Golden Powell right on his heels at 996 for 7th.  Great shooting everyone! 

On the podium, in 3rd Place was Ruong Tang with 1018, earning $584.00 while Magic Bristol nearly pulled off his fifth career win by shooting a very impressive 1022 for 2nd Place and our biggest 2nd Place check of the year at $1,128.00!  Nice shooting, Gents! 

Getting back to Mr. Snow, who not only shot the days' best 1067, he had one of the most lucrative days we've seen as he earned a piece of about every pie we were offering this week.  For hitting the 'Middle 7', he gets $750.00, for winning, he gets $2,570.00 and for taking another $210.00 from the scratch pot, he upped his total for the day to $3,530.00!!!  Not even counting the Jackpot cash, he has now found himself in the $20k Club with $21,052.00 in career earnings.  This was Andy's 6th career title and he says that he plans to "Pay off some debt that I have with my Mom."  Andy used his trusty Storm 'Hy-Road' ball and said "I felt in the zone, until the pinsetter (rack) came down while my ball was halfway down the lane.  I felt that it might disrupt my day but luckily, I got right back into the zone."  Nice shooting, Andy and what a day!
