Wrap Up

Very moderate scores ruled the day, which were perfectly 'On-Target' in every squad.  Our Saturday 'Qualify-by-Squad format produced 18 Qualifers, 6 from each squad, thanks to a tie in the 3rd squad.  In the 1st Squad every bowler who shot above 900 Qualified for the Finals.  In the 2nd, the Top scores were lower, but the Cut-Line was higher, taking at least 930 for SIX more to Qualify.  The 3rd Squad required a 937 or better to make it.  Members from each squad cracked the 1000 mark, with least THREE coming in the 1st Squad.  

Donna Columbo earned the STORM  ball of her choice, thanks to her 1st Squad 1039.  Earning 1st Round Byes in the Finals, were Donna, Brian Peters(1030) & Collins Davis (1003).  Additional Byes may be available, depending on the total number of Finalists.  1039 would be the score to beat, to try earning the Command Computers Android Tablet... the Top Seed... & the Top Qualifier Jacket.   

 Ernie Jones was still smiling after his 7-Middle Taps attempt.  He managed to string 6-Taps before a strike derailed his effort... of course he got another 9-Tap on his next shot.

As always, any entry in the Progressive Pot ($10 or $20) will carryover for all re-entries, including from Saturday to Sunday.  Entry Fees and Side Pot prices are the same as our regular events.  All Members (including newbies joining) are eligible for this weekend's 1st Quarter Championship!

2-Day Tourney Format

The primary objective for this Tournament format is to get qualified for the Finals.  ONE of every FIVE entrants will earn spots in the Finals, and all Finalists will Cash.  Entry Fees and Pots are priced the same as all other Tournaments.  The Top weekend Qualifiers may earn 1st Round BYEs in the Finals.  On Sunday, the two 'Last Chance'squads scores will be combined before determining the qualifiers and there are no automatic 'Byes' on Sunday.  Any additional 'Byes' (above the 3 Saturday squad Top Qualifiers), if available, will come from the combined highest overall qualifying scores.  We encourage the bowlers to come to the earlier Sunday squad, which is often a little smaller.  The Top Weekend Qualifier will get the #1 Seed in the Finals, along with an Android Tablet & a'Top Qualifier' Tour Jacket.  The first few rounds in the Finals may vary in format, depending on the total number of Finalists.  The Final 16 are always seeded by Qualifying Scores, in Head-to-Head Bracket Finals.
