Wrap Up
IMPORTANT Year-End Championship Info:

Priority Message For ALL BOWLERS in the Year-End Championship next Saturday (Dec. 15th) at Narrows: The Goal is to BEGIN at 11:00...HOWEVER, we will be checking in 95 bowlers before we can begin!  Please check in between 9AM & 10AM.  Failure to check in on time could result in your spot going to someone else!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

With just the Year-End Championship to go, The Tour wrapped up 2018 at Pacific Lanes for the 'Best 3of4' format, as we crowned our 23rd 1st-Time Champion of this year, John Sisavath, who also became our 23rd $2,000+ winner of the year!  More on John's super day below...

With a very impressive 121 entries, we paid 24 spots with four bowlers breaking 800 after Jesse Rowe's 793 led for much of the day.  Jesse's trip from Portland was worth it though as he pocketed $215.00 for 5th Place, matching his best finish on Tour.  Shawn Evans had a sniff at his first title, finishing 4th, his best finish in more than four years.

Shane Thompson shot an 814 series, good for his second 3rd Place finish of the year as he earned $493.00while bowling the best we've seen him bowl in quite some time.  Nice work, Shane!  Christina Miller was bowling on the same pair with Shane as she finished in 2nd Place with an 845 series, just FOUR pins shy of earning her 5th Tour Title.  The $924.00 check should soften the blow for Miller as her 2018 was a good one as she won the 1st Quarter Championship back in March and still has the YEC next week in front of her!

As the 9-Tap Jackpot climbed above the $6k mark for the first time in a long time, Yakima's Josh Gonsalez and  Spanaway's Chris Andreula managed to hit the front four for $50.00 each.  Will Cotton made his presence known, this time with his bowling as he finished a game with the last shot being for $500.00 and the 'Middle 7'.  We captured the video, so click the picture on the left (below) to see what happened...enjoy!

John Sisavath had his best ever performance on Touras he not only shot 852, he fired his first ever 300 game and perhaps more impressive, he finished his 2nd game with SIX 9-taps and started his third game with another THREE for NINE IN A ROW!  While this didn't pay him anything extra, we've not seen this many in a row and to top it all off, John earned another $270.00 from the scratch pot to go with his $2,061.00 1st Place check for a HUGE Pay Day!  John used his Robert Kelley drilled Storm 'Marvel' ball while wearing his Dexter 'SST8' shoes as he earned his way to next week's Year-End Championship.  John said "I felt nervous but calm at the same time when I threw the 300 game and I couldn't have done it without the support of my cheering section which included my wife, Nicole and son, Jo-Jo." He then added that he dedicates the win to his TM8 bowling brothers, especially Dex DeCastro!  Great Bowling and Congratulations, John!
