Wrap Up

Lots of things happening as we roll along...

First, we are finished with the Four-Squad Schedule for the year as we head to Daffodil Bowl next week where we remind everyone that Squad times return to 12:00-2:30 & 5:00pm with NO re-oil.  Also, The Jackpot jumped over $4kfor the first time in awhile, increasing payout amounts and bringing back the 'Middle 7'.  See below for the updated payout information:

$500 Bonus - ANY 7 In-a-Row (or)

$500 Consolation Bonus – Front 6

$250 Consolation Bonus – Front 5

$100 Consolation Bonus – Front 4

$50 Consolation Bonus - Front 3

We also are pleased to announce our Thanksgiving TeamEvent that everyone is eagerly anticipating.  This will be  3-Person Team Tournament with Three Squads on November 24th at Narrows Plaza Bowl.  While one team CANNOT Cash multiple times, one person CAN as long as they are on  different teams. Normal sidepots will be in play, including an optional $10 Winner's Pot as well as the 9-Tap Jackpot.  We expect a big turnout for this tournament and encourage everyone to make reservations ahead of time so that we can coordinate enough lanes to accomodate us. No need to pre-pay, but Please print out the form (below) and return to us the next time your see us <OR> reply to this email with your lineup!

There were 119 entries this week at Pacific Lanes and, as we adjusted the oil pattern slightly, the scores improved some but not significantly compared to our last visit.  The Cut Line, again was under 900 at 899 as we had just two bowlers break 1000.  The Thai's Thang, Huyen & Samfinished 8th, 5th & 4th, respectively with Sam actually having a really good chance of winning his first title, but his finishing game came up short.  Skip Shear was steady as he started with a 227 game and got better with each game, finishing with 265 to finish at 986 for 3rd Place.  Justin Miller started bowling league when he was 8 years old and after turning 21 just last week, he shot 1001 for 2nd Place and $500.00 with $0 in the Pro Pot. Justin's Mom,Christina was quick to point out how proud she was and said "Justin has Asperger syndrome and bowling helps a lot with his motor skills."  Congratulations to Skip & Justin!

If you ask him, Dan Watts will tell you that he has had atough few months bowling as he says that he's been in a funk for quite awhile.  After shooting 1028 early on Saturday, Dan had to hang out all day to see if his score would hold up.  Well, it DID hold up as Dan earned his 3rd Tour Title and a HEFTY$2,192.00 pay day!  Dan wore hisDexter SST8 shoes and used his Hammer Rip'D ball to get the job done and said he'll share all of his winnings with his family.  We're proud to share that Dan is a retired Army Veteran and shares many of his Saturday's with us as a Floor Director.  Although he wasn't 'Directing' for us this week, Dan is always willing to help out when we need him and we can't tell everyone enough how happy everyone is for him!  Dan said "It was awesome to bowl good again!  Hard work DOES pay off! I want to thank Dale Coleman for his support and advice as he helped me out a great deal."

Mick Hodge & Lee Porter both able to hit the front four 9-taps, splitting $100.00 and moving the Jackpot to$4,004.00.
