For the most part, scores were on  the lower side this week as the Tour returned to Pacific Lanes where Martin McElroy won his 4th Title by shooting 1072 in what turned out to be a 58-pin runaway!  Just four bowlers were able to get to the 1000 mark as the Cut-Line was at 898 where Joe Trinka and Will Cotton tied to add the extra cash spot! 

The anticipation of someone making a run at the 9-Tap Jackpot never materialized as we wound up with a FIVE-Way Tie with just three taps.  Those five included Vyron Kuver, Lisa Seifert, Willie Manning, Jr., David Kim and Rueben Pedro who all pocketed $75. 

Red Hot Sam Em continued his hot streak by tossing an even 1000 for 4th Place, edged out by one pin to 3rd Place Chris Andreula who was chasing his 3rd Title and had extra motivation as his wife Darian joined the Tour and bowled with us for the first time!  3rd Place gave Chris $493.00 to add to his earnings total.  Welcome Darian and great bowling, Chris! 

Matt Landis joined the Tour in January and had his best day so far throwing his best game & series to date (273 & 1014), add in the 2nd Place along with a $956.00 check and we're sure he went home smiling!  Great shooting, Matt! 

Martin McElroy's Member #86 tells us that he's been around awhile...Hejoined in the Tour's beginning year of 2002, then disappeared for a few years before returning in 2011.  Since then, Martin is one of those folks that we see nearly every week!  This week's title is #4 for McElroy and he also has a 9-Tap Jackpot to his credit when he hit the front 7 for $1,970.00 back in 2016.  We asked him what he'll do with the $2,141.00 check and we received one of the more popular answers: "Spend it on bills".  Martin was was wearing his Dexter SST shoes and said Mike at Paradise drilled his Storm 'Sure Lock' ball.  Martin credits Lisa Seifert for rooting him on, he said that he "Found the line and kept it!" then he closed out the day by telling us "9-Tap Tour people are the best!" We tend to agree with you Martin....CONGRATULATIONS!
