We can't say enough to show our gratitude for Tim (Manager) and his staff at Hi Joy Bowl as they rolled out the red carpet for the Tour's first visit there since back in 2014!  Tim along with some of our regular bowlers from the Port Orchard area spread the word far and wide as we welcomed over 15 new members on Saturday.

Part of the turnout story we mentioned was that we had over 50 bowlers in the 12:00 squad on our way to 116 total entries for the day!  The Rowe'sfrom Portland were on hand as Jesse finished 17th, Bruce McCurdy from Port Angeles finished 12th while local residents John Schelegle &Christina Miller & Paul Rand finished 2nd, 6th & 16th respectively.  Schelegle's 2nd place finish comes off of a fairly recent win at Bowlero Lanes last June as he earned a very nice $879.00 this week. 

9-Taps have been on many minds in recent weeks as the Jackpot continues to rise!  This week it was Rick Thompson taking the consolation for hitting the front 5 for $250.00 and now we're headed to Secoma Lanes with a FAT $7,648.00 pot! 

Scores this week were right on target as three bowlers (one from each squad) shot 1000+ as Scottie Fulp & Walt Dalrymple were at the Cut Line with 928.  We hadn't seen Joyce Law since early in 2017 as she made a big return to the Tour finishing in a tie for 4th Place (Rudy Laed) with a 985 while Pam Sims hit the Cash List for the first time in quite awhile, finishing in 11th.  Lots of great shooting this week!   

We already mentioned John Schelegle's 2nd Place finish as he led after the first squad with a 1013...In 3rd Place this week was Willie Manning, Jr.who fired off an even 1000 series for $353.00 plus some nice bonus money from the scratch pot. 

James Webster told us that he hasn't bowled the Tour for the money as it'sthe Champion's shirt that he's been after since joining us.  James and his wife and fellow Tour bowlerGennie love to bowl and they also love to dance...ballroom dancing, that is. This week they both have reason to dance and celebrate as James shot 1032, earning that shirt he's wanted for so long along with$1,949.00 for 1st Place!  It wasn't his dancing shoes, however that got it done for him on Saturday as he wore his Dexter Shoesto earn the title!  James wanted to thank Gennie and his good friend Rudy Laed (who finished 4th) for their support and Gennie added that James has only been bowling for a couple of years as she was grinning from ear to ear as we handed him the check!  He said he'll use the check for future tournaments.  Congratulations Jim! 

Wanted to send out a special welcome to the Tour to Madelin Coughlinalong with all of the new bowlers who joined us this week and we hope to see you all again next Saturday at Secoma Lanes!
