We suspect that the cold & wet weather made for one of our lowest turnouts in quite awhile as the tour was at Skyway Park Bowl this week for our 'Best 3of4'  format.  With 83 entries, 17 bowlers made the Cash List and our eventual Champ was on a mission, dominating for a 61 pin win! 

Skyway league bowler and long time tour member,Andy Deocampo hadn't bowled on the tour in over three years as he returned this week, managing to tie his career best finish in 3rd Place!  Andy shot 777, his best scoring tourney ever, earning $293.00 with just $10 invested in the Pro pot.  Nice shooting, Andy! 

Ajay Jarata almost always does well when the tour is at Skyway, also his home house.  This week was no different as Ajay fell just short in his pursuit of title #5, shooting 782 late in the day to take 2nd Place and $740.00.  Impressive, Ajay! 

Occasionally, we have a tournament where one bowler simply dominates...Well, this week was one of those instances for Donna Columbo!  Early on in the first squad, D.C. not only shot 843, she finished it off with a 307 (w/hdcp) game and was simply her own little world!  Well, some would argue she's always in her own little world, but with these scores we're not kidding at all!  In addition to her $1,641.00 winner's share, Donna wasn't finished as she also took $235.00 from the scratch pot and $85.00 more, sharing the $255.00 9-tap consolation with Aaron Long & Dan Grass as all three hit the front 5 9 taps.  Grass was very close to hitting the Jackpot outright as his 6th shot had a pin slide over that easily could have fallen, then his 7th shot was also a 9 tap. 

More on Donna...On her way to this, her 2nd title, D.C. actually threw out a 246 game which would equal a nice 1089 in a normal 4-game format.  Donna has seen a lot of the Cash List and now has 14 Top 10's in the past two years alone!  She used her Storm 'Code Red' ball drilled by Robert Kelley at Secoma.  Columbo said she wanted to give credit toLeon Bemis & Lynn Freeman for her success on Saturday.  Leon, because he was a great cheerleader and kept saying "Take it slow, don't rush!" and Lynn because "We bowl together in league and I just kept remembering her telling me to "Stay down and not to rush!"  Donna said she will save her money for a cruise this next Summer and added, "IT'S ABOUT TIME! I WAS BEGINNING TO GET DISCOURAGED!"
