It was Emma Jarata who started the day off with a bang!  Not only did she post an early top score of 816, she hit the front five 9-taps earning the Jackpot consolation of $250.00!  Emma's impressive score was just one of three to top 800 and wound up placing her in 3rd Place overall for the day and coupled with her Jackpot money, she made $587.00 total.  Way to go Emma!  The Jackpot is now at $3,582.00 for next week at Daffodil Bowl  

HOW ABOUT THIS...?  Mainly because two of our top three finishers this week were in the Progressive for $10, the Pot jumped by $590.00 to $2,228.00 for next week, making it very possible that we'll pay out  a $2,000.00+ 1st Place check! 

Raymond Sedeno is Runner-up AGAIN!  Ray is a tough competitor and has knocked on the Title door multiple times recently, including in our Las Vegas Multi-region Tournament back in January.  Sedeno actually did earn a Title in our Hawaii region years ago and this week, he posted a 2nd Squad 824 and was sitting very nicely entering the last squad.  Although he didn't win this week, we think it's just a matter of 'when' and not 'if' he'll win. $828.00 for 2nd isn't bad! Great bowling, Raymond! 

This week's winner is Sherelle Tangonan, as she bowled her career best 837, much because of her HUGE 323(w/hdcp) game!  Sherelle joined the Tour in February of 2015 and said after her win that she "Just got lucky and I was nervous too!"  Skyway is her 'home house'  and she used her Ed Dolfay drilled Storm 'Pitch Black' ball to take home her very first Tour Title and we checked and she was wearing her Dexter shoes too!  Sherelle is a sports fanatic who also plays basketball, volleyball, chess and is also an avid 'Lego' collector.  With just $10 in the Pro Pot, her impressive winner's share was still a very nice $1,410.00 and she says she'll save it for future 9-Tap Tour Tournaments!  Congratulations to you, young lady! 

Regardless of where we are, Lane/House conditions along with oil patterns are often the post tourney discussion as we bowlers commiserate about our performance. Saturday at Skyway this was no different and it did seem that scores may have been on the lower side...However, after some quick research, over the past ten 'Best 3 of 4' tournaments we have averaged a 728 'Cut-Line'. This week it wound up just below that mark at 714 with 21 bowlers making the Cash List.  The winning score over this same span has averaged 835 with this week's winning number actually just over at 837.
