Saturday at HiLine Lanes resulted in very balanced scoring with just 75 pins separating those who cashed.  With a late surge in entries, we managed  a very nice turnout of 114 entries with 23 bowlers making the Cash List.  Tour newcomer, Michael Anderson made nice a run at the 9-Tap Jackpot by hitting the front 5 taps for a very nice $250.00 as the Jackpot pushed forward to just over $2,300.00.  

 

Joining the aforemention Smallman on the podium this week was resident superstar Samson Ibale as he made a late run for another title, falling just three pins short for 2nd Place and $848.00. 

 

The star of the day turned out to be a guy that we see nearly every week who did have a previous title WAYYYY back in 2014.  Orting resident,Will Cotton says that he's struggled with his game in recent times and didn't really plan to bowl this week, perhaps opting to ride his Harley or maybe get his camping gear ready to go for the next trip?  As it turned out, apparently Will was nudged to bowl by his wife, Debbie.  In fact, before leaving the house he asked Deb what shirt he should wear, then answered his own question by saying he needed a new one but perhaps could "Just win one!"  And with that, Will showed up, brought his 'A' Game, shot a very impressive 1019 set and took home the Top Spot and $1,869.00 to add to his savings for a Vegas trip later this year!  Will wore his Dexter SST6 shoes and used his Storm 'Victory Road' ball which was drilled by Robert Kelley fromSecoma Lanes.  Will wanted to thank his biggest fans, Debbie along with son,  Michael and added a big thank you to friends Donna Columbo & Mark Hitchcock.  Will also wanted to say a BIG "Thank You" to his coaches, Matt & Joyce Surina.  Congratulations, Will and welcome back to the Winner's Circle!
