First off, a big shout and 'Thanks' to our 37 early birds who turned out for the 10:00AM squad!  We closed out the day with 106 total entries and wound up with a three-way tie in the last Cash Spot, allowing us to pay an extra place for 22 on the 'Cash List'! 

Earlier in the week, we mentioned Daffodil Bowl and its reputaion for 9-Tap Jackpot winners...Staying with that reputation, Peter Davis came ever so close to the Jackpot as he and 'another' bowler both hit six of the first seven 9-taps.  We apologize to that 'other' bowler for not mentioning you by name, as word of it got to us, but not specifically who you are.  Bobby McKenzie & Chuck Hufford were our 9-Tap Jackpot consolation winners as both had the front five and earned shots at their sixth which would've been for$500.00.  Bobby & Chuck shared the $250.00 prize. 

Finishing in 3rd Place, earning $416.00 was Kare Tong as he was one of just three bowlers to break 1000 this week as scoring high was described as tough!  Kare wound up shooting his personal best by 36 pins, a 1022, and in doing so, bettered his personal best overall finish of 8th Place. Well done, Kare! 

Good friends who bowl together A LOT, sometimes feed off of each other and the David Kim/Cal Fisher tandem showed us proof of this on Saturday.  Fisher finished just off of the podium in 4th Place with his 995 series while Kim shot 1025, earning 2nd Place and $832.00.  David, who's been with the Tour since 2009, earned his best finish this year after finishing 3rd a couple of months ago at Paradise Lanes.  Daffodil produces good memories for David as in 2016 it was the scene where he hit the Jackpot for $6,576.00.  Great shooting Mr. Kim! 

Andy Snow brought his best to Daffodil this week, earninghis 2nd Title of 2017 (Doubles w/Krisha Naff) and 3rd Overall Title with an awesome 1078 series!  The series was a 1066 scratch as he is a 0 handicapper but had 3 bonus pins due to a recent hiatus from the Cash List.  It turns out that Andy didn't really need the bonus pins as his stellar 246-268-266-286 scratch games did the job!  In fact, his last three games earned him additional cash from the High Game Pot and he also pocketed $210.00 from the Scratch Pots.  With 1st Place earning Andy $1,830.00, he is now a member of the $10,000.00 Club.  Andy was super excited for several reasons: 1/ Obviously, He Won! 2/ This was his first time in all of his three titles where he was able to stick around to get his picture taken with the 'Big Check' 3/ He has more cash for his upcoming Disneyworld trip 4/ He has the extra cash to go and buy new Dexter Shoes!  Andy added a "Thank you" for Dean Hale, Mark Hitchcock &Ed Berg who all bowled with him and added "I felt calm and collected the whole time, even with a good portion of lucky hits."  Scott Halverson drilled Andy's Storm 'Hy-Road' and we close this week out by congratulating you, Andy!
