Daffodil Bowl was the site for our Annual Mom's Day Tournament as we had our biggest turnout (133) of 2017 and paid out $8,786.00, including $2,000.00 to our winner, making it the SIXTH straight $2k+ 1st Place Check! 

After the dust settled, EIGHT bowlers wound up shooting over 1000, including one of our Mom's, Gennie Webster who wound up in 6th with 1019!  Also in that 1000+ group was Krisha Naff (1045) who led for much of the day and all the way up until the very end! Krisha finished 2nd for $898.00 and was also joined on the podium by Joshua 'Collin' Young who posted his Career Best 1037 for 3rd Place and $474.00!  Thang Duc Thai, Bob Rouse, Jeremy Truitt and Ajay Jarata rounded out the group who shot 1000+.  Way to go everyone! 

As many of you know, the 9-Tap Jackpot has taken a beating over the last few weeks and with Daffodil Bowl being one of the 'HOT Spots' for the Jackpot with FOUR hits in just three years, totaling $18,914.00,  That being said, prior to our 1st Squad, we awarded Earl Kleist withhis $1,117.00 from hitting the Jackpot a couple of weeks ago at Narrows Plaza Bowl.  Well, as the day progressed, there were no real threats to the Jackpot until late in the day when Earl hit the front 5 and shortly thereafter Pam Sims joined him.  The pair shared $100.00 in consolation and the Jackpot grew to $1,178.00 for next week! 

The fun didn't stop there for Mr. Kleist, with Ms. Naffseemingly and comfortably in control, a quiet Earl put together four great games in the Final Squad to steal away his 10th Career Title with a 1056 set!   According to Earl, the $2,000.00 check will go towards an upcoming vacation to The Phillippines.  Earl wore his Dexter SST8 bowling shoes and primarily threw his Storm 'Snap Lock' ball drilled by Robert Kelley at Secoma Lanes. 

Our annual Mom's Day Pot was hit TWICE by Jasmine Rodriguez who placed 1st & 4th for $160.00 total.  Below are the results:
