Secoma Lanes
Feb. 25th, 2017

Total Paid Out: $8,332.00

Wrap Up
Last time we were at Secoma Lanes in December, we 'tweaked' the oil pattern and our 'Cut-Line' was 912.  This time, we feel pretty confident that the December change has the scores dialed in nearly to perfection asSaturday's 'Bubble' was 911, much to the delight of the ever youthful,Leon Bemis.  With a very busy and fairly balanced three squads and 132 total entries, 26 bowlers made one of the most diverse Cash Lists in quite awhile ranging from 1 to 47 pins (hdcp).

It seemed that  nobody could gather any momentum as far as 9-taps are concerned as just one bowler, Alvin Koch was able to amass the front four to earn the 9-Tap Jackpot consolution of $100.00. Oddly enough, in a rare feat, Alvin did it again a couple of games later to split that Benjamin Franklin in half!  So, for Alvin, that's $50.00 for himself and $50.00 for well....himself!

After one Squad, Brian Peters was our leader after shooting an impressive 985 set.  Brian had to depart the premises shortly after that and when he returned a couple of hours later, he found that he had slipped to 5th Place.  In all, four bowlers were able to top the 1000 mark as Kenny Burnside finished his day with a scratch 296 game and a 1003series, just two pins shy of 3rd Place Roland Jarata, who earned $466.00for his 1005.  Who is a hotter bowler than Raymond Sedeno?  If not for an unfortunate split in the 10th frame of his final game on Saturday, Raymond would be celebrating a Title this week.  After finishing 2nd just a few weeks back down in our Las Vegas Multi-Region Tourney, Ray  found himself in 2nd again this week after firing a 1035!  $888.00should ease the pain for Sedeno, who walked away predicting that he'd win next week at HiLine Lanes.  Good Luck with that Ray and should you succeed, next week's Progressive Pot will reward you kindly as it is now at $2,077.00, virtually guaranteeing that our winner will walk away with a $2,000.00 pay day if they are fully invested!

Fresh off the recent great news from Dexter's Bud Clapsaddle andCarmen  Ratti regarding Dexter Shoes and their future involvement with the Tour, this week's Champ, Martin McElroy made a point to email usthis morning after his 3rd Title, stating "I was wearing Dexter shoes. They are SST and I have had them for over 16 years."  Obviously, this goes a long way in showing the quality and performance of Dexter Shoes and we're fairly certain that Bud & Carmen will be delighted to hear this from our latest Champ!  More about Martin...Those of us who are lucky enough to know this fine Military Veteran can attest to the fact that he loves to bowl and is a kind, humble and fairly quiet man.  Saturday, however, Martin kind of bullied the field by shooting 1045 and earned $1,970.00 for himself.  As everyone knows, we always ask our Champs what their plans are for spending their winnings and Martin simply said "SPEND IT!"  You see, We eluded to that fact that he's a man of few words!  We also asked if he had any fans or family cheering him to which he really opened up to us by saying "NO".  On a more serious note, Martin explained his detailed strategy for pulling off this Title as he said "I was Calm."  Congratulations, Martin!
