Kind of a crazy Day at Roxbury Bowl with many Ups and Downs and Plenty of prize money paid out.  Thanks, in part, to yet another 9-Tap Jackpot Giveaway!  For the 3rd time in FOUR Tournaments the Jackpot was hit as not one, but TWO bowlers had their respective GOLDEN shots.  First there was David Kimearly in the day hitting the front six 9-Taps only to throw a perfect and I mean PERFECT, but REAL strike on his 7th shot.  David was in the Catbird seat for the Consolation payout for about two hours when Thang Duc Thai made his own run at he Jackpot.  Thang, however, converted on his 7th shot taking down the Jackpot for $995.00! 

 

As if that were enough excitement for one day, Saturday at Roxbury was our 'Best 3 out of 4' Format and although we had just 92 entries, a higher than usual 'Cut Line' of 755 brought 18 bowlers to the Cash List.  Four bowlers broke 800 and one shot out of his mind with, by far, his Career Best 875! 

Chris Andreula has been on the Tour for three+ years and hasadmittedly struggled to put a BIG series together.  Saturday changed all that as Chris earned his 1st Title and $1,700.00!  Andreula said that he was "In the Zone and a little nervous in the last game."  Chris credits his biggest fan, wife and the "love of my life" for her support as she was on hand to cheer him on.  Chris will spend his winnings by paying some bills and taking her on vacation soon!  Curtis at Paradise Bowl drilled Chris's DV8 'Grudge' ball and Chris does most of his bowling over at Daffodil  Bowl on Wednesday nights.  Congratulations, Chris! 

Pat Robbins shot a 799, good for 5th Place while James Blackhad a very legitimate shot and stealling the Title from Andreula, needing a 298 to tie him in his last game.  Black did hit the first 7 strikes in that game but couldn't quite get it in done in the end and settled for 4th Place.  

Reynaldo SteMaria shot an incredible 822 finishing in 3rd Place, earning himself $400.00 while Chuck Gonsalez shot GREAT with an 833 for the Runner-Up spot and $770.00 to take back to Yakima!  Great shooting guys!
