It was another BIG Payout day for The Tour as we brought our 'Best 3 of 4' Format along with a HUGE Progressive Pot & MONSTER 9-Tap Jackpot to Bowlero Lanes!  While both of the Pots did get taken advantage of, the Pro Pot managed to grow and the Jackpot stayed above the $8,000.00 mark for the 3rd straight week as we head to HiLine Lanes with BIG money on the line!

 

It's not often that we have multiple bowlers with shots at seven 9-taps in a row, but Saturday at Bowlero Lanes we had TWO withshots at the 'Middle 7'!  First, there was Steve Bowyer with his shot which turned out to be too good of a shot as he buried it for a real strike.  A little later in the day, Matt Carlson earned his shot as well and found success, earning himself a nice $750.00!  See both shots below.

 

 

Scores were moderate and the 721 'Cut-Line' was right on target with 133 entries and 27 bowlers making the Cash List.  We even had a tie for 3rd Place as a Red Hot, Steve Wilson made his 2nd straight Top 3 finish, firing an 800 along with an equally Hot, James Black  who posted his fourth Top 10 already this year and topping it off with going over $25,000 in Career Earnings!  Wilson & Black both earned $356.00. Matt Shaw had his work cut out for him, but adjusted quickly while taking full advantage of the ability to throw out his worst game as he fired 273-268-278 games for an impressive 819, earning 2nd Place and a $732.00 check.  Well done, Matt!

 

This week's Champ, Kenny Burnside earned his First Career Titlewith his Son, Brycen close by rooting him on as he fired a Top score of 840!  Shooting scores of 256-290-264 with his Hammer 'Black WidowVenom ball, drilled by Robert Kelly from the Peter Somoff Pro Shop at Secoma Lanes, Burnside finished like a Champ, earning a HUGE $2,162.00!  Kenny said that he didn't have immediate plans for his winnings, stating "It depends on what his wife, Sam allows."  Five years removed from surgery to reattach his right biceps, it's been a struggle for Kenny to get back to the form that he was used to as he said "I can finally throw the ball the way I used to."  Great shooting Kenny, and Congratulations!
