With another nice turnout and 136 entries, 27 Bowlers made their way to the Cash List with a Cut Line of 900 as the Tour paid a visit to Bowlero Lanes on Saturday.  Some found the 'Shot' to be a tough one this week and since the scoring on our last visit was below our 'Target Range' we tried a brand new oil pattern this week.  The 'experts' agreed that the new oil pattern would be better suited for the new oil machine and conditions.  The scoring proved to be a little below normal, although it was a little higher than before.  All that said, Saturday provided us with valuable information so that we know how much to 'soften up' the shot for next month's 2nd Quarter Championship. 

In the Final Squad, with just two bowlers on one of the pairs, we needed another bowler to pace them, so in stepped Lynn Freeman with an 'unoffical' entry and she bowled very well shooting a 982.  Nice bowling and Thanks to Lynn for helping out.  Unfortunately for Lynn, she was fined $5.00 by her husband (Steve) for not wearing an official 9-Tap Tour shirt...Sorry, Lynn! 

Two bowlers, Paul Padilla & Ruong Sa Tang were able to hit the front 4 taps for this week's 9-Tap Jackpot Consolation and $100.00 each.  This is exciting news!!!  The Jackpot is now over $8,000.00 and this triggers a 50% increase in Consolation Prize Payouts!  For example, a $500.00 payout increases to $750.00 making next week at Roxbury Bowl potentially VERY lucrative!  The Progressive Pot also made a BIG jump to $2,545.00 to sweeten the Pot even more! 

3rd Place - Osmond Green -  Otherwise known as 'The Oz', after an unexplained 'dry spell' for most of the 2nd half of 2014, heated up in time to win the 2014 Year-End Championship and hasn't cooled off much since...This was his Sixth Top 10 finish already this year, incuding his 2nd 3rd Place.  Oz recently joined the $20,000.00 Club and boosted his Career earnings to $21,148.00. 

2nd Place - Ruong Sa Tang - Ruong brought his game on Saturday as he came within just TWO PINS of his 1st Title in the 4:30 Squad.  Firing a 1042, Ruong bested his previous Top finish (6th), also personal bests for series and game and additionally (by far) his biggest Pay Day of $998.00 (including The Jackpot Consolation) since joining the Tour in 2002. Way to go, Ruong! 

1st Place - Shannon Squally -  It was a LONG day for Shannon as shedid her handy work in the 1st Squad by pounding out a MONSTER Personal Best 1044 series!  After that, she had to wait it out ALL DAY LONG with a target on her back.  She even Re-Entered in the Final Squad with the hopes of bettering her score and perhaps that helped to calm her nerves rather than pace around with the stress of it all.  This is Shannon's First Career Title after joining the Tour in 2012 along with who she referred to as "The love of my life" Shawn Donathan who was also on the Cash list.  Shannon had been away from bowling for awhile as she recently had a baby girl.  The layoff certainly didn't hurt her bowling as she shattered her Personal

 Best series by 152 pins!  Shannon used her Roto Grip 'Rumble' ball drilled byScott at Paradise Bowl and said that she was "Nervous ALL DAY!"  She earned $1,498.00 for her win and said that she'll take Shawn and her SIX kids out for a day of fun and then "possibly to the casino to double it!"  Shannon wanted to thank Shawn and Tour newcomer Ashley Kochel(who also made her first visit to the Cash List) for their support and says "Thank you" to the "wonderful" (her word) 9-Tap Tour Staff.  Congratulations, Shannon!
