9-Tap Tour Tournament Results
Hiline Lanes - Burien, Wa Nov 7, 2009
Total Paid Out: $5,623.00

Thanks to the nice turnout at HiLine, plus the winner not being in the Pot, we have the BIGGEST Progressive Pot since last February, $2,566.00. This will certainly add to the appeal for next week's Ft. Lewis Tournament. The Pot is over $1,000.00 larger than normal, and will assure the Veterans Day Tournament will pay WELL over $2,000.00 for a winner fully in the Pot. The expected 'run' at the 9-Tap Jackpot didn't materialize Saturday. The normally high No-Tap numbers at HiLine shrunk down to just THREE Members getting 3 No-Taps, so that Pot climbs to a hefty $4,351.00. There was a LARGE number of bowlers throwing some BIG games Saturday, only to have a bad game, or the lane change, slow them down. Many had a shot at the Top scores going into their final game, but fell just short, still finishing with some very nice scores. TWELVE Members managed to crack the 1000 mark to lead the Cash List, which totaled 21 this week.

Our HiLine Champion, winning his FIRST Tour Title, is Paul Mann. Paul has been a regular on the Tour since joining earlier this year. He's already made his mark, by hitting the Jackpot for $4,757.00 last August, and he's had a few Top 10 Finishes to go along with it. In the 12:00 squad Paul shot just off the pace, but he came back in the 2nd squad shooting his 1077. He said he got pretty lucky, but he actually shot ONE big game (278) along with three consistant games. With all the BIG games being shot Saturday, we thought that his score wouldn't be enough. His score did hang on, and he won $1,000.00 in Prize Money, but left $819.00 on the table, from the Progressive Pot. But, he said the $1000 will still help pay some bills. Paul works and bowls in Leagues, at Hi Joy Bowl in Port Orchard. His Storm Hy-Road was drilled at the Nick's Pro Shop in Port Orchard. CONGRATULATIONS Paul on Win #1!

In 2nd Place, Marjean Petersen had a huge start which included her first 9-Tap 300 game. She probably would have won a 'Best 3 of 4' format by a large margin. She gets a nice $827.00 payday, for her 1057 series. A TIE for 3rd Place with Dax Colwell and Greg Burdsall both at 1052. That means they both share 3rd & 4th money, working out to $357.00 each.

FORT LEWIS: This will be a regular Tournament for ALL Members, with an extra Side-Pot, sponsored by Crescent Realty - Narrows Plaza Bowl & 9-Tap Tour, for Veterans and Active Military, as a Special Recognition of Veteran's Day. We hope you don't miss next week at Ft. Lewis. We'd like to make a BIG show of 'Support' with this event.

If you didn't get a Gate Pass for next Saturday yet, you will still not have a problem. Getting a One-Day pass through the Visitors Center will only take 2 minutes. You'll need your Car Registration & Proof of Insurance and they'll get you right through. Fred will also have Gate Passes at his Pro Shop at Narrows Plaza all week & I'll have some Monday at Tower or Wednesday at Daffodil.
