The Imperial Lanes winner on 4-21-07 was John Trausch. John said he was so excited to finally put four good games together. He sure did with a great 1075, with only 7 pins per game of handicap. That was the highest winning score in nearly three months and only 2 members even shot over 1000. John shot his big 1075 series on a re-entry, after shooting 880 in his first try. It was worth a nice $1126 that he plans to use paying bills. He joined the Tour seven months ago and has had several Top 10 finishes, with his best being a 3rd place finish in the last Quarterly Tournament. John has been bowling for 8 years and even drilled his own Columbia "Tremor" that he used to win. John wants to thank his wife for letting him out to bowl this weekend. He said his favorite activity is playing with his kids. John also took over the #1 spot in the "Bowler of the Year" compitition, with Mick O'Connor close on his tail, moving into a tie for 2nd with Dawn Eaton. A special tip of the hat to Edgar Caindec taking 2nd place. He shot what normally would have been a winning score with a fine 1054 joining John with the only other 1000+ score. Strike Pot = $3428 |
